A vintage 1983 Cozy Powell album where he is joined by guitarist Gary Moore and Don Airey and Deep Purple’s Jon lord on keyboards among many others. Catching the legendary drummer after a two year spell with The Michael Shencker Group and just prior to joining Whitesnake, Octopuss is something of a travelogue with Up On The Downs and Dartmoore providing suitable soundtracks alongside versions of the theme to The Big Country and a tub thumpingly powerful 633 Squadron.
