By the time legendary drummer Cozy Powell released this solo album in 1981 he’d already been part of The Jeff Beck Group and Rainbow as well as working with everyone from Peter Sarstedt and Julie Felix to Hot Chocolate. Jeff Beck, David Sancious on keyboards and Mel Collins on sax join Powell on the album, which was originally released on Polydor. The mood is funky, jazz-led with some fine Beck passages and some breakneck performances especially the 100 mph Blister.
