Released in 1982 it signalled a period of experimentation for the band with synthesisers, multi-layered sounds and dubbed vocals adding new dimensions and plenty of echo to the singles Melt! and Slowdive as well as the haunting and strangely eerie Cocoon and Obsession. In total it displayed a new side to Siouxsie and a suitably forward-looking veneer to their sound.
