The second studio album from this Glaswegian power metal trio came off the back of a suitably loud and sweaty live release, which established their credentials as guitar-fuelled contenders. Fronted by the heavily-tattooed Rick Warwick – husband of European MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball presenter Vanessa – they quickly established themselves in a London scene that was embracing a new wave of metal bands. The chunky riffs and Warwick’s driving vocals won them the support of Kerrang! and tours with Motorhead and Megadeth suitably enlarged their fanbase.
