A classic 1969 album that brought together, briefly, Judy Dyble (who was in early incarnations of Fairport Convention and what would become King Crimson) and Jackie McAuley who featured in Them and The Belfast Gypsies. The resultant sunshine pop, warm harmonies and Dyble’s pure traditional folk soaring vocal made this album a real oddity that veers from wholesome soulful cosmic folk to vintage folk club reverie. With arrangements that seem intent on being challenging, Morning Way is a truly moving experience.
